Reducers are fittings that connect two pipes of different sizes. They are either concentric or eccentric. Concentric reducers have the same centerline for both ends, while eccentric reducers have offset centerlines.
Reducers can also be either seamless or welded, and made of the same materials as flanges, elbows, and tees. Reducers are also rated by their pressure class and schedule number.
