Tees are fittings that branch out the pipe run into two directions. They are shaped like the letter T and can be either equal or reducing. Equal tees have the same size openings on all three ends, while reducing tees have one smaller opening on the branch end.
Tees can also be either seamless or welded and made of the same materials as flanges and elbows. Tees are also rated by their pressure class and schedule number.
